The last rays of sunlight are fading quickly into night
Clouds are lit from the bottom with precious golden color
Pale green runs where the water meets the sky in all its might
As you look at the sunset you see it in all its splendor

Sitting close with hearts beating as one
We feel the true meaning of love that God has wrought
Feelings of togetherness that will never be undone
Togetherness in all things, spoken and thought

In silence though we may just sit quietly together
Our dreams weave a tapestry with wishes entwined
Flowing from one to another light as a feather
Our search is over for our love is forever we find.
