Late in the evening I sit alone under the north star
A bright light shines and lights the world
Stealing my glance it draws me to worlds afar
Where wishes and dreams are unfurled

Silently the light seems to let me fly
Away into things that only I can imagine
High up into the heavens and through the sky
On a magic carpet like Aladdin

Where will I land and what will I see
Who will be there to great me with open arms
Will it be the adventure for which I plea
And can I savor all its charms
