Warm spring rain followed by the sun
Renews once again the beauty of nature
A smile from you and renewed love has begun
My soul warms and my feelings nurture

Little seedlings peek through soil and spring to life
Delicate leaves and stems so very tiny
Standing upright facing all of the days strife
Still so new, clean and shiny

Another day of sunshine and warmth
Blossoms appear in all their glory
Still another smile and love springs forth
The feelings pen their own love story

On it goes day after day, night after night
An adventure of us with words to write
Renewed and refreshed, it feels ever so right
It can only be a gardener's delight.
