Jester Hat

A hat for the jester!!!!!!

Step #1 Print this page in color.

Step #2 Cut out both pieces of the hat.

Step #3 Use some paste and glue each half together so one side is green and the other is orange.

Step #4 When the paste is dry roll the hat tips around a small glass so they droop down to the outside.

Step #5 Have a grown up help you to hold it to your head and wrap it around so you can make it the right size. Don't make it to tight or to loose. Hold it together with your fingers and then paste the two ends together to shape the hat.

Step #6 On each tip of the hat you will find a black dot. Using a large needle thread a string through each tip. Tie a knot in the end of the string where it comes through the hat tip so it does not pull through.

Step #7 Wrap the end of the string with crumpled aluminum foil balls. (If your mom has some old jingle bells you can use them on the ends of the strings. Get her permission first.)

Step #8 Decorate the hat with little crumpled aluminum balls. Paste a ribbon around the hat. You can cut out tiny stars from aluminum foil or use some small stones you find outside.
