A Little Bird

What you need.

One egg box. Scissors. Color Pen or Water Colors. Feather.

Step #1 Cut one eggshell section out of the box. Look at the first picture and you will see that one side is longer. That will be the tail.

Step #2 Cut one slot within the other side. The second picture shows the slot. It will be used to attach the head of the bird.

Step #3 Print this page and cut one bird head out. If your paper is thin you might have to glue it to a stiffer piece of paper.

Step #4 Using your colored pens or watercolors, color the eggshell section to match the color of the bird head. Also color one egg (hard boiled) to fit into the eggshell as the bird's body.

Step #5 Carefully slide the bird head into the slot you cut in Step #2.

Step #6 No select the right feather and attach it to the long section you have for the tail. You can glue it in place with white glue or you can make a small hole in the eggshell tail for the feather quill.
