A Funny Caterpillar

What You Need

 

                                                                       

 1 large dinner plate

1 paring knife

1 wooden cutting board

1 hard boiled egg

2 twigs of parsley

1 lettuce leaf

1 cheese slice

                       

                      

 

Step 1:  Remove one leaf of lettuce from the head.

Step 2:  Wash the leaf well with cold water and slice it just enough so it lays flat on the dinner plate.

Step 3:  Slice the hard boiled egg into about 8 slices.

Step 4:  Lay the sliced egg around the top of the plate side by side in a row to make one caterpillar.

Step 5:  Place the parsley under the end slice of egg so it looks like the caterpillar feeler.

Step 6:  Cut the cheese slice to make eyes and a happy face.

Step 7:  Cut the cheese into thin short strips and make legs for each of the caterpillar pieces.

 

Now is the caterpillar ready to taste!
